Devoted Fusion is an end-to-end self-service freelancer hub built for the games industry to help game studios hire pre-vetted artists quickly, transparently, securely, and affordably.
We're looking for a driven Business Development Manager to grow Devoted Fusion -- our platform connecting game studios with top freelance artists worldwide. In this role, you'll identify new business opportunities, build relationships with studios and publishers, and promote Fusion as the go-to destination for creative talent. You'll work closely with our platform, marketing, and client success teams to generate leads, close deals, and ensure long-term client satisfaction. A strong network in the games industry, a consultative sales approach, and a passion for creative production are key to success.
Responsibilities
* Work with the CEO and CCO to define business development targets, and proactively track/report on progress against KPIs
* Identify and pursue new business opportunities with game studios, publishers, and co-development partners.
* Build and maintain strong relationships with decision-makers in the games industry, ensuring repeat business and referrals.
* Present and promote Devoted Fusion's capabilities, value proposition, and artist network to prospective clients.
* Work closely with the marketing team to develop campaigns, events, and outreach initiatives that generate high-quality leads.
* Collaborate with the Devoted Fusion team to ensure smooth onboarding and handover of new clients.
* Negotiate contracts, pricing structures, and project scopes in line with company goals.
* Track and report on pipeline activity, sales performance, and market trends to inform strategy.
* Represent Devoted Fusion and Devoted Studios at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities.
Requirements
* 5+ years experience in sales in the games industry in a business development or similar role
* Proven track record in business development, sales, or account management---ideally within the gaming, creative services, or tech platform space.
* Strong network in the video games industry, with existing relationships at studios and publishers.
* Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
* Strategic thinker with the ability to identify client needs and align them with Devoted Fusion's offerings.
* Self-motivated, results-driven, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, startup-like environment.
* Demonstrated knowledge of sales and marketing tools and techniques
* Familiarity with creative production pipelines, outsourcing, or freelance talent platforms is a strong plus.
