As part of the BWRX-300 Product team, the BWRX-300 Product Cost Leader is a key leadership role within the Advanced Nuclear product management function and a critical part of the BWRX-300 Small Modular Reactor program. This role will influence a cross-functional team to model, evaluate, and trend the BWRX-300 product cost (total installed cost) to ensure product competitiveness objectives are achieved. This role will also act as the intermediary between the Product Team, Finance Team, and Project Team to ensure cost changes are understood, challenged, and disseminated for action amongst secondary stakeholders. In addition, this role will provide guidance to the teams on Cost performance including trending and analysis. This role reports to the BWRX-300 Deployment Strategy Leader.

++Essential Responsibilities++
In this highly visible, player/coach role, the BWRX-300 Product Cost Leader will provide the leadership and strategic direction to a team to measure/monitor BWRX-300 product cost. The scope of the BWRX-300 product is based on a multi-unit project site and includes licensing, engineering & construction labor, engineered equipment and commodities.
This role is foundational to support 1) the Inquiry-to-Order (ITO) team with a basis of estimate for future project proposals, 2) the Value Engineering team identify focus areas for cost-reduction programs, and 3) the BWRX-300 Product Management team shape strategy programs for growth.
This person will work across teams to drive a consistent and accurate cost basis. Responsibilities include, but are not limited:
* Will own the content and management of the Total Outturn Cost (TOC) of the BWRX-300 Product, with line of sight to the Multi-Generational Product Plan.
* Will obtain and translate cost estimates (internal and external) and will recommend to the business actions to align all sources of information.
* Create and own standard work for modeling & tracking BWRX-300 product cost with common and consistent processes utilizing industry standard codes of accounts. Standard work includes tools, processes, methods, templates, and culture.
* Help create user-friendly estimating models, tools, and templates that are useful to engineers that utilize Analogous Estimating, Parametric Estimation, ratios, rules of thumb, learning curves (FOAK to NOAK), etc. Provide engineers and supply chain teams with access to relevant cost data and assistance with models, tools, templates, and rules of thumb.
* Facilitate communication and collaboration between product management, engineering, sourcing, and cost estimating using real-time productivity tools in common environments. Interject oneself into the product management, design, estimating, and sourcing processes.
* Will work with the Value Engineering team to identifying cost drivers and shape cost-reduction programs.
* Will be the first point of contact to Project Teams and Customers for cost-related topics controlled or influenced by the Product Team.
* This role will be expected to regularly interface with the Advanced Nuclear Modularization and EPC Leaders to provide up to date and accurate information on product and delivery costing including insight into location specific impacts to standard costing assumptions; obtain and utilize costing information received from EPC and Delivery Partners developed for proposals and responses for new business offerings; periodically review industry trends in pricing, labor, allocations, and other execution related impacts; monitor and provide international market pricing information and trends for mega project delivery.
* Work with Product Managers and the Value Engineering Manager to execute strategies to achieve stated product cost targets, while ensuring value is addressed on a continuing basis as part of design, procurement, manufacturing, and construction.
* Actively participate in trade studies to drive creative exploration of concept and design alternatives as a basis for developing lower cost design approaches.
* Provide timely communications on significant issues or developments related to product cost challenges.
* This role may expand beyond the BWRX-300 Product Line into other Advance Nuclear Products in the future.
* This role may be assigned ad hoc assignment to support business needs, and other non-cost related needs of the Advance Nuclear Product Team.

* The preferred work location for this role is at the GEH Headquarters in Wilmington, NC; but highly qualified (US based) remote candidates will be considered.

The base pay range for this position is $128K - $175K. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate's experience, education, and skill set. This position is also eligible for bonuses, such as a performance bonus/variable incentive compensation/equity. This position is expected to close on 10/4/25.
The company pays a geographic differential of 110%, 120%, or 130% of salary in certain areas.
